Itinerary

Day 01 Kandy

En route to Kandy, you’ll stop by the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala to witness the bathing and feeding, especially of the baby elephants.

In Kandy, proceed to a cultural tour followed by a stroll through the Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya, famous for its landscape. Visit the most sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic before taking in the tranquil ambience of the evening.

Day 02 Nuwera Eliya

Your train expedition begins here! Take a ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya. Witness the process of tea making in a Nuwara Eliya tea estate. Take an evening leisure boat ride across Gregory Lake surrounded by incredibly lush hill country.

Experience an overnight stay in the peaceful environment of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03 & 04 Ella

Another exciting train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, immerse yourself in tranquillity as you discover Ella’s pristine beauty and spend the day at leisure.

On Day 4, take a stroll up Little Adam’s Peak to see the breathtaking views of Ella, followed by a visit to the Nine Arches Bridge that showcase colonial architectural genius.

Day 05 Yala

Rise early! You’ll be driven to Yala. En-route visit the stunning Ravana Waterfalls. Experience an exciting evening Jeep Safari in Yala National Park. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at Yala.

Day 06 Mirissa

The journey will start from Yala and reach Mirissa where there will be plenty of activities to enjoy. It’s time for a rejuvenating yoga session and a relaxing spa experience. Enjoy the great flavours of freshly caught fish and other Sri Lankan delicacies. And, of course, to spice your day, a whale-watching boat ride awaits you.

Day 07 Bentota

Another amazing train ride from Bentota to Mirissa, a unique railway expedition where you’ll witness the serene southern coastal lines that will mesmerise you! Next up is a visit to the Turtle Hatchery, a conservation project that aims at saving endangered species. Last but not least, a boat ride to Madhu River, is another memorable event of the day. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at Bentota whilst enjoying the sunset of this charming seaside town.

Day 08 Colombo

To conclude the train trails of Sri Lanka, you’ll embark on another train ride from the Southern coast, Bentota to the capital city of the island. When you arrive, explore Colombo’s lively sights, sounds, and nightlife. Stay in Colombo overnight.

Day 09 Colombo

You will then bid farewell to your vacation with a memorable collection of experiences!
